Aluminum Honeycomb Pen Blank - Dark Blue

Enhance the appearance of your pen project by combining acrylic resins with a detailed aluminum honeycomb structure. The blank is easily drilled and turned with precision using sharp High-Speed Steel or Carbide turning tools. Finish it like any acrylic blank by using Micromesh and polish for a stunning appearance. This will complement the Honeycomb Twist Pen Kit perfectly. Note that buffing these may cause the aluminum to darken buffing wheels, so have dedicated "metal" buffing wheels on hand or be prepared to switch them out.

Turning Tips! - When turning smaller pieces of resin can separate from the Aluminum and create voids. We recommend "dousing" the blank with CA periodically when turning, Baring that any voids can be were easily filled with colored epoxy or CA.
