This is the Le Roi with a 3/8th (9.5mm) tube that allows you to leave more 'meat' on the barrel when you turn it resulting in fewer blowouts as you turn near the bushings. The finished pen is the same size as the Le Roi Elegant. These are very high-quality component sets with excellent fit and finish. They do require their own bushings. If you work with sensitive woods or man-made materials and are having some problems with blowouts, you'll want to try these.
