Pink Flamingo Rotacrylic Pen Blank
Another tropical delight from Jeff Powell! A delicate pink flamingo is surrounded by white, green and silver swirling resins!
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank is best on a larger diameter pen (Gent, Majestic, etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
