Beautiful Crosscut Catalpa (Catawba) pen blanks! Blanks have been hand-picked, cut & stabilized by Terry Q.
Catalpa is a seldom-seen open grain, lightweight domestic hardwood. The genus gets its name from the Catawba Indian tribe’s name for the tree, (the tribe itself is also named after the tree). Catalpa's heartwood can range from a grayish tan to a richer golden brown color and is easily worked.
These blanks are approx 5" long x 3/4", and are sold per each. As with all-natural items, please expect some variation.
