Magnum Bolt Action Pen Kits

When the original Bolt Action Pen isn't big enough, there's the Magnum Bolt Action Pen Kit. Designed by Penn State Industries, the Magnum is everything the 30 Cal Bolt Action is — and then some. The body is 10% wider and longer, giving the pen a heftier, more commanding feel in the hand and a longer barrel that really showcases whatever blank you put on it. The hardware is loaded: a replica Magnum cartridge at the base, a rose gold bullet tip, and a bolt-action rifle clip that completes the ballistic theme from tip to top.

The mechanism itself is the star. The true bolt-action — patented design US D682,352 S — slides forward to advance the refill and locks it firmly in position, just like a real rifle bolt cycling a round. Push it back and it retracts and locks again. The bolt and clip are both reversible for left-handed turners and writers, and two bolt positions let you dial in exactly the look you want. It's a single-tube build with a straight body, so turning is straightforward and assembly is minimal.
