Wood Stabilizing Chambers
A vacuum chamber is the single piece of equipment that makes home wood stabilizing possible. Pull a vacuum on a chamber full of wood and stabilizing resin (we sell Cactus Juice for this), release the vacuum slowly, and the resin gets pulled deep into the wood's cellular structure — turning soft spalted maple, punky burl, or porous cottonwood into a dense, turnable blank that finishes beautifully. We stock vacuum chambers in sizes from small single-blank pots up through chambers that'll hold a dozen blanks at once, plus the vacuum pumps needed to run them. If you turn enough burls to justify the investment, stabilizing your own wood pays for itself fast.
