African Mahogany Pen Blanks
Pen blanks made from African Mahogany are sourced from the heartwood of the tree, which displays a range of hues from pale pink to deep reddish brown. Some blanks may even have streaks of medium to dark reddish brown. Over time, the colors tend to darken. Additionally, Mahogany exhibits a unique optical effect referred to as chatoyancy.
The pen blanks measure 3/4" x 5".

- Native Area: Tropical Africa
- Hardwood, with a coarse to medium texture and good natural luster. Easy to turn.
- Grain is typically straight but can also be interlocked, with a high degree of chatoyancy.
