Acrylic resins combined with an intricate aluminum honeycomb structure will give your pen project an extraordinary look. The blank drills and turns easily with light cuts using either sharp High-Speed Steel or Carbide turning tools. Finish like any acrylic blank with Micromesh and polish for a beautiful finish. Will perfectly complement the Honeycomb Twist Pen Kit.  If you buff these, the aluminum is likely to turn your buffing wheels black, so plan to change them or use dedicated "metal" buffing wheels.

Turning Tips! - When turning smaller pieces of resin can separate from the Aluminum and create voids. We recommend "dousing" the blank with CA periodically when turning, Baring that any voids can be were easily filled with colored epoxy or CA.
