AlumiRes (RC-3) Black Casting Resin - 2 Gallon Kit

Alumires (RC-3) Black is the original Alumilite Resin that has been pre-dyed black. It provides users with an extremely user-friendly rigid black opaque urethane with good overall physical and cosmetic properties. 

The resin has a low mixed viscosity and a mix ratio of 1:1. The resin features a 2-minute work time. Demold time is typically 30 minutes depending on the mold temperature and the mass of the material being cast. We always recommend warming the mold before casting to achieve a more consistent and thorough cure.

This resin is ideal for producing opaque black pen blanks. Because this resin is opaque, using mica powder is not recommended. Kit includes 1 Gallon of side A and 1 Gallon of side B. (2 gallons in total)
