Amethyst Octopus Rotacrylic Pen Blank
NEW from Masterscroller! Jeff has placed this highly detailed little octopus, filled him with glittering gem like amethyst resin, and set the little guy in a backdrop of swirling copper, blue and emerald resins. This one is a real gem of the sea!
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in glittering resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank is best on a larger diameter pen (Gent, Majestic, etc.). Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
