Fighter Jet Rotacrylic Pen Blank
From Jeff! This is one in a series of blanks to celebrate all those that served the US armed forces. This one is for all brave fighter pilots. A fighter jet is shown in silhouette against a background of sky blue and white resin. This blank will fit any mid-size pen.
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in black resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some black fill and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
