Black Dragon Rotacrylic Pen Blank in Birdseye Maple
A new dragon, just for the rotocrylics! An intricate carved black dragon flies over a birdseye maple backdrop. This is a very dramatic looking dragon pen blank.
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
This a two piece set, you will get both pieces. The engraved blank in the set is approx. 3 3/4" long x 3/4" in diameter, the plain blank 1" sq x 3 3/8" long. They are not pre-drilled, but the engraved blank will have a centering guide hole.
