Black Palm Pen Blanks
Black Palm is actually a grass, related to bamboo. However, this version is not difficult to turn with sharp HSS tools. Black Palm displays dark-chocolate lines on a dark tan background. Tree growth patterns are conducive to a uniform density and so the material is great for pens and another small projects. Trees can grow to 100 feet tall.
These blanks have not been stabilized, so they should be turned with sharp tools for good results. Pen Blanks come in your choise of 3/4 x 5" or 3/4 x 6" sizes.
Blanks as shown are priced per each. A group is shown to demonstrate the consistency of one blank to the next.
