New from Jeff Powell! A fun little bookworm pokes his way out of an apple. This will make a great pen for any teacher! The blank made from swirling gold and white alumalite resin, with inlayed red and green for the apple and worm (A double recasting)

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, twice in differently colored resins. The matching blank for the lower barrel is plain (uncarved).

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc)  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of color matched sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
