• Dry-fit all 10 pieces before gluing to become familiar with their placement

• Keep the individual inlay components organized during assembly

• Make sure each piece is completely seated before the adhesive cures

• Allow your adhesive to cure completely before turning

• Use sharp turning tools and light cuts

• Avoid aggressive cuts that could catch or damage the individual inlay pieces

• Take increasingly lighter cuts as you approach the finished diameter

• Sand progressively using light pressure

• Avoid excessive heat during sanding

• Finish with your favorite wood finishing system to enhance the Curly Maple and contrasting inlay woods
