Ebonite Pen Blanks - Marbled Yellow Rod
Ebonite is a long-admired material in the pen world, and this new imported marbled ebonite is long past due. We are excited to be able to offer some to you! Each color is unique and beautiful, and will make a stunning and classy pen!
This yellow and black marble swirl is a new spin on the collector version. The yellow ochre and black colors combine to form a raw umber brown that is interrupted by swirls of black and gold. Almost wood-like in its appearance!
If you have never turned ebonite before, it is not difficult. But it does require a certain about of skill, and...tolerance. We would recommend that you start off with the less expensive single colors or straight-grained Cumberland.
Individual yellow marble swirl ebonite blanks are approx 6" or 8" long by 22mm (.86") in diameter, rods are 19.5" long x 22mm.
