Introducing White Marble Faux-Stone Pen Blanks: Experience the look of real stone without the hefty price tag! Our simulated stone pen blanks combine powdered stone, dye, and acrylic resins to mimic the appearance of white marble, complete with striking black veining. Ideal for advanced turners. 

Turning Tip: Faux stone is dense, so the tool needs to be sharp.  It can be turned with a roughing gouge, skew, or carbide tools (please watch our video showing these tools in use).  Because it is stone, it is porous, so you may want to complete with a thin CA finish (I recommend 2-3 coats of thin and one or two coats of the medium.)  Once these have cured, sand with 600 grit and polish---you can achieve a high shine--Ed
