Football Rotacrylic Pen Blanks

This is one in a series of new blanks dedicated to the glory of sport and competitive athletics. This one is for the football player. Made from a base of two-tone green pearly resin, it shows a football player in silhouette as he takes aim at the ball. This blank will fit any mid-size pen. What a great gift for the football - or any sports enthusiast!  Collect the whole series!

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re-cast, in white resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid-size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc).  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the white sanding dust and CA or epoxy. These blanks have been precision cut on a multi-axis CNC. The image depth on the blank does not vary. But you need to drill straight and in the center of the blank (there are two pilot holes started for you) or the image on the blank will be off-center and will turn away as you turn the blank down. Painted tubes are recommended.
