Brian has taken these uniquely shaped brass pieces and embedded them into brilliant multi-colored polyresin. The effect is simply mesmerizing -  like putting fossils on your colorful pen!

Blanks are approx 5 7/8 long by 3/4" sq.

Painted tubes are recommended. These blanks may have an occasional small void due to the folds in the brass. Although rare, if this does happen, we suggest a filling any gaps with a color matched epoxy or CA. A top finish (like CA) is also recommended for these blanks. Turning experience is suggested!

Turning notes from Ed: Portions of the small pieces of brass CAN pop out as you turn these blanks.  Sharp tools will help avoid this.  As you get to final dimension, it is not a bad idea to use sandpaper, abranet or other abrasive.  If you reach final dimension and still have small chip outs, you can either color some epoxy or just clean the dust off and "do a CA finish".  Either method yields great results.
