Description

Granadillo Woodturning Spindles

The exotic hardwood known as Granadillo features rich, deep undertones of red, brown, black, and occasional violet. Often referred to as Mexican Rosewood, Granadillo is favored by many in South America for instrument building, as it is both easier to work with and has superior gluing capabilities compared to Cocobolo. It boasts a dense, straight composition and a closed-grain structure, making it a popular choice for various applications. While not a true Rosewood, Granadillo is known as Macacauba and is scientifically classified as Platymiscium yucatanum.

3x3x12 spindles come waxed. 3x12 Spindles are not included in the free shipping offer.
