Great Lakes Rotacrylic Pen Blank.
Jeff has designed a new blank to celebrate the largest group of fresh water lake on earth. Combined, Lakes Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Ontario, contain 21% of the world's fresh water. A geological wonder of the world, right in our own back yard.
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or colored epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
