Description

NEW from Masterscroller! Jeff has designed this new blank to pay homage to this little guy, the Green American Green Frog (genus Hyla). A familiar sight in most of the southern US, this little guy has become popular as a pet, has also been named the state amphibian of Georgia and Louisiana. The frog is displayed in an outline of a bright green and is set into a backdrop of white, light sky blue and tan resins.

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc)  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
