I Robot Rotacrylic Pen Blanks
A robot Rotacylic! With a nod to a Sci-Fi classic and two of the sci-fi's best writers (Isaac Asimov and the irascible Harlan Ellison (screenplay), this is a cute little robot is sure to bring a smile to any sci-fi fan! The blank is a metallic-looking swirl of blacks, silvers, and greys with the robot in gold. Very cool!
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re-cast, in resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank will fit a mid-size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the white sanding dust and CA or epoxy.
Painted tubes are recommended.
