Polar Bear Rotacrylic Pen Blank
Description
King of the North Rotacrylic Pen Blanks
One of the largest members of his species, the regal polar bear wanders across your pen surveying his territory! A great blank to continue Jeff's winter theme. These blanks are done in winter white alumalite, with the great bear in a dramatic black outline. Make sure to collect the series!
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re-cast, in black resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The pen blank will fit a mid-size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc). Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the white sanding dust and CA or epoxy. These pen blanks have been precision cut on a computer-controlled multi-axis CNC. The image depth on the blank does not vary. But you need to drill straight and in the center of the blank (there are two pilot holes started for you) or the image on the blank will be off-center and will turn away as you turn the blank down. Please refer to the provided instructions.
Painted tubes are recommended.
