Mango Pen Blanks

Mango wood is available in board and slab form, as well as craft and instrument and pen blanks. It can be sourced from Hawaii and Asia. The wood is known for its spalting, which creates a kaleidoscope of colors ranging from golden brown to yellow, streaks of pink, and/or black. Figured boards with curly figure, spalting, and/or vivid coloration can occur. 

Mango trees are eco-friendly as they are harvested for lumber after they are no longer able to bear fruit.

The pen blanks measure 3/4" x 5".

• Hardwood, with a Medium to coarse open texture and a good natural luster. Easy to turn.
