These special mini pine cones pen blanks are placed into a colorful mix of swirling Alumilite resins. Once turned down these mini cones will give your pen a beautiful starburst or snowflake appearance to your pen turning project.

These mini pine cone blanks are approx 7/8"" by 5" in length and are sold per each.

Painted tubes are recommended. The cones can have some voids in them as it is nearly impossible to get the resin to penetrate completely through the mini cones. If this does happen, we suggest a filling any gaps with a color matched epoxy or CA. A top finish (like CA) is also recommended for these blanks.
