Orange Butterfly Rotacrylic Pen Blank
New butterfly pen blank! A sparkling orange butterfly flutters across a mix of yellow and green alumilite resins. A bright and playful combination! Perfect for the young ladies!
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in orange resin. The matching blank for the lower barrel is plain (uncarved).
The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the white sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
This a two piece set, you will get both pieces. Each pen blank in the set is approx. 3 3/4" long x 3/4" in diameter. The blanks are not pre-drilled, but will have a centering guide hole.
