Pegasus Rotacrylic Pen Blank
Description
Pegasus Rotacrylic Pen Blank
From MasterScrollerl! The white-winged stallion of Greek myth makes an appearance on one of Jeff's blanks. The stallion is placed on a swirling black, emerald, and gold alumalite backdrop. What a perfect pen for the horse lover!!
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re-cast, in white resin. The matching blank for the lower barrel is plain (uncarved).
The blank will fit a mid-size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc). Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the white sanding dust and CA or epoxy. These blanks have been precision cut on a multi-axis CNC. The image depth on the blank does not vary. But you need to drill straight and in the center of the blank (there are two pilot holes started for you) or the image on the blank will be off-center and will turn away as you turn the blank down. Please refer to the provided instructions.
Painted tubes are recommended.
