Dalmation Rotacrylic Pen Blank

This is one in a series of new blanks dedicated to the faithful companions that fill our lives with warmth and joy.

The Dalmatian is a large dog noted for its unique spotted coat and mainly recognized as a carriage or fire dog from days gone by. The Dalmatian can trace it roots trace back to Croatia and the historical region of Dalmatia. Today, it is a very popular family pet, and many dog enthusiasts will enter Dalmatians into kennel club competitions. This blank will fit any mid size pen, and is a great way to show your love and support for this amazing breed!

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc).  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or  colored epoxy. White painted tubes are recommended.
