Recycle Rotacrylic Pen Blank
Description
Recycle Rotacrylic Pen Blanks
Recycling is becoming the conscientious thing to do in the ever-increasing industrialized world. Every little bit helps, and to prove his point, Jeff has "re-purposed" some of his turning shavings in this blank - making it look like a ticker-tape parade! What better way to show your support for this important movement!
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, includingthousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re-cast, in resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank will fit a mid-size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA and/or colored epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
