New!! From Terry Q! These segmented serpentine pen blanks make just fantastic pens as the high contrast veneers swirl and weave their way around the blank. Each pen blank will have its own unique pattern of undulations. The final pattern is 4 sets of fine lines running through the finished pen (One pair on each side of the pen blank). Each blank is truly individual.
Some care should be taken when sanding, as colors can "run together". This can be controlled by using sanding sealer or compressed air while sanding and finishing. The end product is well worth the extra care!! The blanks are large enough to make nearly any pen style.
Blanks are approx. 3/4 to 3/4" square x 5" long.
