Shotgun Inlay Kit - Sierra Pen Kits

Today the shotgun or scattergun is popular in bird hunting circles, but it has a long-standing position in American history. The shotgun is one of the best-known icons of the Old West. It was this gun that helped defend the Alamo. And despite the popular misconception, Doc Holiday's only confirmed killing was with a shotgun. The shotgun was the personal defensive weapon of choice along the American frontier, requiring far less skill to use than many other weapons of the time. It also became the preferred weapon that was employed by the strongbox guards who rode on the stagecoaches and trains in the Old West. In fact, it became so common and ingrained in the American psyche, that the term "Riding Shotgun" is still used in popular slang today.

The Shotgun Inlay kit is made up of Black Dyed Spalted Maple, Cocobolo, natural Curly Maple.
