Stars and Stripes Laser Inlay Kits - Natural Woods
Ken’s original Stars & Stripes pen prototype captured our hearts with its beautiful natural tones. To celebrate the anniversary of this iconic design, Ken recreated this special edition exactly as it first appeared in 2003 on the Yahoo Penturners Group, where it all began.
There are two versions of this kit:
The original features a maple upper barrel laser-cut to hold 50 stars, and a maple barrel section designed for 7 waving stripes, with stars and stripes crafted from Myrtlewood or Koa.
The natural version features maple stars, maple and walnut stripes, and a walnut star field
Extra stars are included for your convenience. Slightly oversized barrels allow for final turning after assembly. Rated difficulty level 3, this kit includes detailed instructions and is perfect for creating a truly unique, patriotic pen.
A color version of the Stars and Stripes inlay is also available.
